I highly recommend this amazing book. It tells a story about one of the most horrific times in our World History but more importantly the incredible relationship of kind and caring people and absolutely amazing friendships.

Ok it’s a nice story, was I wowed by it, no. I felt by reading it I was thinking, oh this could be a nice little PBS Masterpiece mini series, the ones that just seem to meander along. I felt the story line of her parents was a bit odd and I won’t give it away. Like I said, I just was not wowed by much with book.

Yes, it’s depressing, but it also makes you realize the blessings we have including people in our lives.

A story of friendship, hardship, history, mystery, and resilience. One’s story is a ripple effect connecting us all to one another. Look around and see the ripples. Take time to ponder the “guides” who helped you along the way and who you are guiding. We are better together.

Very different than his previous books, but one that grabs you and makes it hard to put down.

Very different from the other books I have read by David Baldacci but I was totally engrossed with it! Beautifully written and very informative.

So different from his other novels, David takes us into a war torn world, the devastating bombings on London, families, relationships while allowing the light of love and compassion flow through this book to prove all is not lost! Good one David your characters are brilliantly molded together into a cohesive hope for the future!!
