  • Funny, yet….

The book is up to the author’s usual standard for a rom-com, but with a side order of “look what I’ve learned about bipolar disorders” that makes the book feel a little longer than perhaps it needs to be. There were a few moments of disjointed plot line, but it’s a romance novel so one must forgive the odd “how would that work in real life?” that pop up now and then.

From someone that ran into Penny Reid early and followed since this is the best yet. So glad the KitC families are still relevant and such insight into where they are now. Loved Ava and Des story and laughed and cried in equal measure. Thank you for sharing such real world issues and encouragement for solutions to some of the hardest times in your life! NEVER STOP WRITING Penny and I will never stop reading ❤️😊

This was such a nice change from what I had been reading. I love the way that mental illness is discussed in a lighthearted manner. The love story and the characters were amazing!

Too much sex, not enough story. However, there were moments where the description of living with a mental disorder brought me to tears. Bravo for that. I just wished there was more substance to the story.
