Enjoyed this book very much. I love this author’s writing style and the fact that there isn’t any raunchy explicit sex in it. It’s a perfect reading without all that!

Love this series…doesn’t get any better than Bluegrass series

Fun and light hearted!!

I’ve read all of Kathleen Brooks Keeneston novels, starting with this one. When I first read it, it was so much work - the plot skipped all over the place, the narrator switched repeatedly from first to third person, and from one character to another with no warning. I wanted to keep going because I liked the story, but I nearly gave up because the writing itself was so convoluted. I’m glad I stuck it out, because the series gets better as it goes along. Now, a couple of years later, the book has been revised and edited so that it’s finally put together the way it should be. Kathleen Brooks is a great, if fanciful, storyteller, and this is where it all began.

I loved this book. Didn’t want to put it down. I can’t wait to read the rest of the series.
