By far my favorite swagger book.

Definitely NOT one of Hunter’s best, and I’ve read a lot of them. Struggled through the beginning, and gave up. Don’t waste your money.

I am willing to suspend disbelief with the best of them. This book pushed that need to do that to the limit. Overall, I enjoyed the characters. But, I did find myself skipping over pages waiting for "something" to happen with the story. And the biggest annoyance is why would Hunter put Swagger in so many unnecessary positions of danger?

Stephen Hunter almost always writes a good book. If you like Swagger(Snipper) you will like this book. A lot of data re guns,scopes,etc, which I found a little overdone. all in all, a very good read. Cwrj
