The story telling was great. The characters were well written. The big cats added some contrast and interest.

A Nora Roberts book to start the summer is always a good thing! The characters were so relatable and I found myself rooting for them. Fast paced, but with a rich story line behind it. Nora does not disappoint!

This book popped up and I couldn’t remember if I’d already read it. I got a sample and it seemed ok. So I bought it, and GAH I vaguely remembered it from years ago. Wasn’t great then, certainly not now. Predictable, very trite.

Good romance/mystery about a wildlife refuge. Heartwarming stories about rescued animals. And the ending - WOW!

I loved every single page of this book!

I really enjoyed the beginning section of the story, it was engaging and hooked me immediately. The middle section dragged for me, the animal refuge and wildlife talk could not keep my attention because I wanted more of the core relationship on those pages. Third section, finally put the focus back on Coop and Lil, I wish we had followed them more in those ten years. Ended on a strong note though and I absolutely loved their conversations and how they both come to the realization of their absolute love and adoration for each other. There were some beautifully written scenes, just beautiful. Nobody writes a love story quite like Nora Roberts! ❤️
