It’s a cute book, at times funny. Very short, though.

This is a quick read and super fun. He talks about his life and hollywood. While there is some hilarity and some humility. Great work! I thoroughly enjoyed reading this!! Survivor warning: Just be aware in the second to last chapter, he does discuss the hate event that occurred at Pulse in Orlando. He had some connections to it ❤️‍🩹❤️‍🩹❤️‍🩹

Leslie Jordan has had a number of roles from Will & Grace, to American Horror Story, to Sordid Lives. Over the last year many people have discovered his wit and wisdom through his posts on Instagram. In this new memoir, Jordan describes going from not knowing what Instagram was to millions of followers. This book is just so lovely. Jordan describes encounters with celebrities like Lily Tomlin and Debbie Reynolds with such fondness and appreciation that it was wonderful to listen to. While he may be good a playing a quippy antagonist on TV, this book convinces me that Jordan is kind and generous and all around wonderful human, who we’ve needed this past year. There are so many stories and asides that are wonderful. I listened to this audiobook read by the author on Scribd over an afternoon while working and it was a delight. If you’re looking for a funny, heartwarming book, check this one out.

I enjoyed the storytelling immensely but do feel book is overpriced for something I read in less than 2 hours. Regardless it is a fun read.
