I like when the resolution is not on the very last page of the book. Just love the characters and setting.

In THE HIDING PLACE, interesting characters, a compelling mystery, and an abundance of animals make for an enjoyable read. I'm looking forward to future books in this series. Disclosure: I received a free copy of this book.

Another excellent action packed mystery by Paula Munier. I really enjoy the mystery, search & rescue dogs, along with a budding romance between two heroes.
