Horrific and exhilarating.

Dark, twisted and suspenseful. Eerie, foreboding and ominous. Kind of enchanting and dramatic, but hits like a zombie apocalypse in a way. I loved it!

I have read most of Nora Roberts’ romance books many years ago and I have to say she had always been a favorite author. This new twist did not disappoint! Avid reader here can’t wait to start the next one..

I loved this book, real life with a dash of fantasy!
I loved the whole series, didn’t want to put it down.

Loved the characters, the fantasy, the good winning over the bad.
Well done, but dragged on.

Solid characters and plot, but found the middle to really drag on. Probably could have eliminated 50 pages in the second to last section without taking anything away from the story. For the first half of the book I was excited to finish and move on to the next book, but this feeling of excitement disintegrated in that section (Survival) and then i just couldn’t wait to be done with it.
Pretty Awesome fantasy for Nora!!

The second to last review is hilarious! Hahaha! Too ick?! Too scary?! Were you expecting another romance novel? Read the description first next time. But this is what is so great about the new direction Nora is exploring lately. Her fantasy/folklore/witchcraft creativity side is quite wonderful and belongs up there with all the other fantasy power players like Sarah Maas & George RR Martin!
Wow, unbelievable

I’m loving this new version of Nora Roberts. More substance and just different from her usual style. It’s a great shift. I’m proud of her for trying this genre, I’m sure it was a little scary.
Bad read. Disappointed
