The Cates family has returned to terrorize Joe Pickett and his family. THe two surviving members of the family is the mother Brenda and her son Dallas. Brenda is in prison and will be for the rest of her life. She is a paraplegic and has a very high tech chair with a hidden phone. She is able to contact Dallas to give him instructions.What ensues is a masterfully written tale of deceit and acts of violence. Enjoyed immensely!!! My highest recommendation!!

Another great, exciting story! I enjoyed every twist and turn. It all tied together beautifully with the other books in the series. My only disappointment was that it ended too quickly, even if I really enjoyed the ending. My special thanks to Mr. Box for his imagination and for his commitment to sharing Joe Picket with us readers!
